A really awesome mash-up!!! Is it completely vocals? Because that's sweet; there aren't any "blank spots" because you seem to cover them really well with overlapping vocals and transitions, as well as a pretty consistent and constant background of vocals. I especially love the harmony in the end, it really makes this song worth listening to over and over and overandoverandover... (etc.) I honestly can't think of many critiques for this, I guess just watching the harmony in the end because it got louder (just because of all the voices, I guess) and threatened to drown out the main melody? It didn't, but I suppose that's always something to watch out for! But the balance was pretty good, and I liked how you kinda pared it down in the end to the single vocal. Preeeeetty awesome!

raggd46 responds:

Thank you so much! Yep its all voices done by myself apart from the pretty awesome solo done by Tony Mchugh (you should check out his stuff too :P )

Hmmm, very "melty". Like one of those standard animations where everything's normal, and then it just melts, bursts, fizzles into madness and imagination? The changing of tunes gives it a cool flow. If anything, there are some parts that can seem a bit repetitive, but on a whole it's, well, mad! In a good way! And it maintains a consistent feel, which is awesome from an animation standpoint.

Ready, steady, cool!

I've had this floating around my playlist for a while; it's always enjoyable to come across. Love the country/rockband feel, it's not overwhelmingly leaning towards either category (which is great balance!) Mind if i use it for an animation? (credit duly noted)

Thanks for the kind words. Feel free to use it, for anything you want :)

Nostalgic...

The whole story of Marowak's death was probably one that could have held its own in a Pokemon episode or "featurette", so every time i went through town is was kind of thrilling, sad, and expectant. Makes me remember how not all of the Pokemon game songs were repetitive; this one had a cool backstory which gave it a neat feel. Nice job!

Chilling

Sounds like a movie soundtrack, looking outside this winter at the snow it totally fits, like a graveyard scene that flips into a shot of a church. I hope you're in a choir, because such a voice should not be put to waste. Or a cappella, definitely. =3

VGSongbird responds:

I have been in choir all my life; sadly, I am not in one at this point in time, but choral music will always have a special place in my heart. I hope to post more songs in this style in the future, and I hope you continue to listen in ^_^

ah, this one!

Yeah, i might like this one better than the loop you have, well actually, they're both equally awesome. Now all i think of when i hear this is either dimensions or cat tummies. 0_0

quirky

Wait, was this on that Youtube Cats flash? I actually thought it sounded really good on that, and, well, it sounds really good here too! Awesome!

Idea!

Okay, not a perfect 10 because you sound like you could be more confident on the electric, i believe? I respect that you can play a guitar this good (i can't really play...at all <D) but yeah, it gave me an idea...hmmm, mind if i do or do not use this in the near or very distant future? I have an animation idea that it could go with, but then i have lots of half finished animations, and school Xp

yokomeso responds:

Ya, go ahead and use this with your animation! As long as you put it into your author info when uploading (just the song) I am up for it. Songs a year old, so I feel I play a meaner solo now.

Also the distortion on its a lil on the... i guess amateur side (personally I can get a better setting)...

Tell me if you need any help!

Hmmmm...

You know, i like it. I like the tune, although i can tell the recording quality could be better and you could balance out the singing and the piano a little better, but i like the tune and the whole idea of it. Could i get the lyrics?

Woah, God of War!

Really, that's the first thing this makes me think of! Well actually, World of Warcraft Cataclysm first ('cause it sounds sort of like weapons being forged, like the preview where the dragon's getting that armor) and then it goes all PRINCE OF PERSIA! Battle in the sands of time and infinity! Woah, this is epic.

Ha, I animate! It's a work in progress... Twitter: @EATincart Tumblr: http://eatincart.tumblr.com/ YouTube Channel: EAT Inc
